About Your Facilitator

Don has worked as a clinician for over 25 years in Australia and the UK with organisations such as One Door Mental Health, Department of Education, headspace, Centrelink and NSW Health. 

Don is now in private practice as the Director of Social Sense Allied Health. In privtae practice, Don sees children and adults, and also supervises social workers around Australia.

During his career, Don has focused on mental health, developmental trauma, neurobiology, endocrinology and the social determinants of health. Don is always learning and regularly undertakes Continuing Professional Development regarding the latest evidence-based therapy techniques available such as EMDR, Neurofeedback training, Schema Therapy and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
